Pilates Reformers
Pilates Reformers have launched at SLS Fitness.
Designed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century, Pilates is a low-impact exercise system that focuses on mind-body connection through breathwork, centering, and flow to develop strength, flexibility, and balance in all major muscle groups, with a particular emphasis on posture and core. Some classes are bodyweight on mat, while others incorporate various types of equipment to integrate whole-body movement.

Pilates Reformer Essentials
Pilates Reformer Essentials is a low-impact, introductory 50-minute pilates class on our Balanced Body Allegro Reformers. This rep-based class introduces and reinforces the foundational pilates reformer movement patterns through a mixture of supine, prone, seated, kneeling, and standing exercises on the reformer. This class also highlights precise body alignment and challenges concentration and stability while integrating breathwork with whole-body movements! This class proves as a fantastic introduction to our Reformers and for those looking to hone their foundational reformer skills, while getting a great workout at the same time!

Reformer Core
Reformer Core is the SLS Fitness signature multi-level group reformer class. In 50 minutes, this class includes a full-body workout that will increase your strength, help lengthen and stretch, and focus on precise body alignment while challenging core stability.

Reformer Core with Jumpboard
Take our signature Reformer Core Class with the inclusion of Jumpboard Intervals! The jumpboard is an attachment on the pilates reformer. It adds the element of jumping and cardio to the traditional pilates exercises and helps build strength and stamina. It involves lying on the reformer and pushing off of the jumpboard with your feet to perform plyometric movements. Music enhances this class experience.
Intermediate - Advanced level
*Prerequisite: Essentials class required, Reformer core recommended, Must be comfortable standing on the reformer.
