Katie McCauley, Manager

Spin Instructor

Katie is one of the managers at SLS Fitness. Our community knows her as the friendly face behind the desk most days, helping members to maximize their experience and answering any questions thrown her way.

However, her role extends far beyond her work at the front desk! Katie handles all the daily operations for SLS to make sure the business runs smoothly. From organizing and managing the class schedule, to making sure we’re well-stocked with the supplies we need, to leading communication between staff and members, she plays an integral role in the success of the SLS community!

Her journey with SLS started as a member in 2012. Having been a dancer for most of her life, she developed a love for fitness and movement, and decided to see what SLS had to offer. Not long after becoming a member, Katie joined the SLS team, working the juice bar and the front desk. She was offered a full-time position after her college graduation in 2015, an opportunity that eventually led to her current management role at SLS.

Anyone who knows Katie is aware of how well she balances her full-time career in the fitness industry with her passion for music and dance. She’s been an active member of the pop girl band Girls Nite Out since 2008, which allows her to continue nurturing her love for music and songwriting. She graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Industry, and it’s this unique educational background that allows her to pursue her passion for art and performance, while successfully managing a business. In fact, when she’s not at SLS, Katie can usually be found in the recording studio, working on her latest song.

For Katie, the SLS has always felt like home. She feels incredibly fortunate to work for a business that promotes whole-body wellness, and reminds people that fitness doesn’t have to have a one-size-fits-all-approach. She also loves and admires the generosity and compassion of the SLS members and their families through SLS’ work with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Katie has been to St. Jude twice in her time with SLS, and her experience there only reaffirms her passion for the SLS community and the work that she does as a leader of the team. She looks forward to helping SLS continue to grow and make a significant impact on it’s members, their families, and their community.
