Spin & Yoga Instructor
Nichole has always been inspired by movement and passionate about education and helping others. She grew up playing basketball & field hockey & running track. She played field hockey for Boston College, making two appearances in the NCAA tournament & continued her love for team-based movement through marathon training.
Nichole has worked in IT consulting & taught in high schools and with the Boston Scholar Athlete Foundation to create The Zone Program in Boston Public Schools. This program provides academic supports, mentoring, community, and purpose so students have the tools & resources to earn the grades to move and play on high school teams.
Nichole loves coaching and fostering community and teamwork. She currently coaches high school field hockey & track and field. From early December to Marathon Monday in Boston, you will find her coaching hundreds of charity runners at the Saturday morning group training runs and helping them throughout the week with mobility, recovery, and more. She does this work for the Marathon Coalition, which is comprised of 24 charities. Her intention is to support those training to recognize that more miles isn’t the answer, but adding strength, mobility, rest & recovery is essential.
Nichole has been a Boston and Somerville girl for almost 20 years now. She recently moved to the Lowell area, heard about SLS and instantly felt connected to the whole person approach and active community involvement. She is grateful for the opportunity to join the SLS community and to continue learning & growing with their supportive and professional team.
