In 2002, Kacy ran her first Boston Marathon, an accomplishment that drove her to return to the course four more times until she finally broke her personal record (PR). To compliment the running, Kacy started practicing yoga in Charlestown, MA nearly 20 years ago. The miles have not been kind to her joints, and over the years Kacy has learned the value of diversifying her workout regime. She's a huge fan of yoga, spinning, HIIT, and Tabata-style classes, and she hopes to one day find the courage to take a boxing class here at SLS!
Since completing her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training, Kacy has been teaching many different styles of yoga at all levels. While she loves a good vinyasa flow, her absolute passion is teaching restorative yoga. She's also earned a Group Exercise certificate through the YMCA and is well versed in different forms of exercise. Outside of SLS, Kacy is a cybersecurity freelance writer and the mom of two little ladies. She and her family live in Lowell.
